Bay Area Day 1

灣區第一天

Day one is always an interesting one. This is because, after you get off the plane, everything seems surreal.

For one, it is the daytime when you get into a plane, yet when you get off the plane from the other side of the planet, it is still daytime. It is confusing for my body. For two, I haven’t really slept on the bed in a private room for more than 24 hours by the time I reached my hotel. It doesn’t matter how many hours you slept on the plane; you’re tired naturally, let alone the jet lag.

Luckily, my first day was easier. All I had to do was drop off my luggage and go into an office for a few hours. My people here are so friendly that they took me out for lunch and brought me to check in at my hotel, allowing me to catch a few hours of sleep before the online meeting with Taipei.

I was more than lucky that my classmate picked me up after my meetings, and we went out for an all-you-can-eat hotpot night.

What a great venue! I'd love to come back. This place is super. I love it. Thank you, Cyrus.

下飛機的第一天永遠都是非常有趣的。

首先，你的身體會覺得很困惑，上飛機的時候是白天，下飛機的時候怎麼還是白天？第二，當方方終於抵達下榻飯店，其實我已經超過24小時沒有在獨立的房間裡或者躺平睡在床上。所以不論你在飛機上睡了多少個小時，下飛機後人總是有點疲勞，都先還不需要講時差這些了。

所幸，今天運氣很好，早上到達飯店把行李放下來後，方方前往辦公室認識人，開了些會議，之後就有人帶我去吃午餐，吃完午餐後送我回飯店讓我休息。因為再睡幾個小時就要參加台北的一場會議。

更幸運的是，我竟然有同學願意ㄗㄞ我開完會議後來接我帶我去吃飯，而且帶我去吃一家這麼好吃的和牛吃到飽的火鍋。

我超喜歡的，林裕章同學，謝謝你帶我一起吃飯，今晚聊天非常開心，讓我忘記了時差。
